Elisa Macellari is an Italian illustrator with Thai roots, born in Perugia and based in Vigevano and Milan. She likes colorful things, wild animals, jungle, mysterious creatures, strange objects and papaya salad. Her graphic novels “Papaya Salad” (2018) won the Silver Medal at Autori di Immagini Annual Award. Her graphic biography “Kusama, ossessioni, amori e arte” (2020) has been translated in 7 languages.
